Soria Moria - Courses and conferences

New ideas, the exchange of opinions, boosting expertise, debates about values. The topics are as varied as the people who meet to discuss them. Soria Moria has placed emphasis on creating a framework around meetings which provides inspiration for learning and relaxing.

Our modern meeting rooms contain features that are important for "good meetings" such as advanced technology, lighting and ventilation, as well as excellent areas for taking indoor and outdoor breaks.

Meeting rooms:
Our rooms have the capacity to accommodate between 2 and 300 people and we are thus able to cover most requirements. We supply iced water and fruit to provide participants with a good start to the day. Coffee bars outside the meeting rooms provide an opportunity for spontaneous breaks when participants start to long for a coffee. Soria Moria has 7 plenary meeting rooms, 2 "board rooms" and 13 group rooms. We also have Soria Moria - Askeladdens Hus with 1 plenary meeting room and 4 group rooms.

Technology:
We have always placed emphasis on having good technical solutions in our plenary meeting rooms. We are able to cover most requirements, from flip charts to projectors. We have separate PC racks, WLAN and ISDN for anyone wishing to "surf the net" and download presentations or other information. Soria Moria is also able to offer transmissions between meeting rooms, and data networks.

Askeladdens Hus

We have moved the boundaries for what people expect of a conference framework. Soria Moria - "Askeladdens Hus" is a unique, tailored conference centre for groups ranging from 10 - 80 people.

Our meeting facilities are packed with modern technology and the quality of our audiovisual aids - technology, lighting and ventilation - is extremely high. We recommend a visit when planning your next event.
A unique conference centre for groups requiring something special, exclusivity or being able to escape from "public" rooms. The "Askeladdens Hus" has been built in accordance with old traditions, e.g. hand-crafted timber. This contrasts with the technical equipment in the plenary meeting room and group rooms, where we have used market-leading solutions. The "Askeladdens Hus" is suitable for up to 84 participants, but also serves as a pleasant, intimate location for smaller groups.

The "Askeladdens Hus" is located by itself on the northern side of the Soria Moria Hotel and Conference Centre and it is linked to the existing hotel by an underground tunnel.
